I grew up with parents who welcomed foster kids into our home, so I learned early on how important it is to care for your community and put others first. Volunteering with YoungLives in college further strengthened my drive to advocate for others.

Now, as a journalism student at UT, I’ve sharpened my skills in investigation and storytelling, and I’m excited to use those in the field of law. My goal is to help kids and families in the foster care system get the support they need. I want to make a real impact—whether it’s advocating for change, pushing for better policies, or just giving a voice to those who need it most. I’m not sure exactly what the future looks like, but I can  promise it won’t be boring!
